Dan drove me to work again.
It was busy, no cancellation except the last one didn’t show up.
It was very smooth.
The sun came out at some point, so I can see in between the van and hospital.
Dan texted me he had sun bathing in the yard.
At the end of the day, Josh and I went to radiology room and chatted with other technologists.
There are three women, and they do X-ray, CT scan, mammogram, and ultrasound.
One of them asked me where I was from, she was curious why I came here.
It turned out that Brenda who did my mammogram knows Bretz family. Oh wow.
They were talking about this old radiologist who retired at age of 72,
I think that is the woman who Concetta knows...
Wow, it feels like a small town now.
Dan came to pick me up, and we had nice evening.
It was my last day of this year.
He made me tacos and it was really good.
We watched old Saturday Night Live Christmas special.
水曜日、今日もお仕事。
サンドイッチにするパンがなかったので、残り物を詰めてお弁当をつくる。
ケールだけ炒めた。
今日も送ってもらう。
今日は1日ずっと予約が入っていて、キャンセルもなし、
と思ったら最後の1人が来なかったけれど。
スムーズに進んでいく。
途中、太陽が久しぶりに出ていて、MRIと病院の間の隙間から眺める。
夫はお庭で日向ぼっこしたと言っていた。
最後、放射線科の他の技師さんたちとおしゃべりした。
ちなみに全員女性。
レントゲン、マンモグラム、CTスキャン、超音波が担当。
NYから来たというといろいろ質問される。
わたしのマンモグラフィをしてくれた、例のおっぱいをガールと呼ぶブレンダが、
なんとうちの元家主一族を知っていてびっくりした。
みんなで引退した技師の話をしていたけれど、それはたしかコンチェッタが知っている人だったはず。
おお、小さい町っぽくなってきたな～。
迎えにきてもらって帰宅。
いちおうこれで年内の仕事は終わりなので乾杯。
夫がタコスをつくってくれた。
