The snow had stopped, but the wind was blowing the snow around, so it looked like still snowing.
Coffee.
The pipes were fine.
We rested whole morning, and had leftover lunch.
Then I wore this sky pants which M gave me.
It was too big for me but very practical.
The snow was light like starch powder, so shoveling was really easy.
When Dan checked on me from inside he saw me smiling. haha It was fun.
I cleared all drive way to the street.
It was not cold, but my fingers were numb.
Then after Dan cleared the car,
we went to co-op.
The town looks just the same.
Back home, we had shower and bath.
My stomach was upset, so I only had soup for dinner.
Dan had chili and rice.
It’ll be the coldest tomorrow morning negative 3F.
We tried everything we can and went to sleep.
雪は止んでいたものの、風が強くて表面に積もった雪が舞って、まだ降っているみたいだった。
コーヒー。
水道管は無事。
午前中はゆっくりして、午後、昨日の残り物の簡単なお昼を食べ、
それからしっかり着込んで雪かきをする。
スキー用のズボン？、もらったもので完全に足がたりていないけど、はいてみる。
裾をしぼれたり、脇が開閉したり、すぐれもの。
雪はさらさらとした片栗粉みたいな感じで、ぜんぜん重さがない。
ただ、シャベルで押して集める、という感じで、すごく簡単にできた。
夫が窓から様子を見てたら、にこにこ笑いながらやってる！といって笑っていた。
車から道路まで繋げたところで終了。
寒くはないけれど、指がすこし悴んだ。
それから少しして、夫が車に積もった雪をきれいにして、
買い出しにいった。
街はいつも通り。
でもNYみたいに、道路が完全に見える状態まで雪かきしないみたい。
それだと逆に凍てるのかな？
帰ってから、お風呂にはいって、その後はゆっくりしていた。
わたしはちょっと胃の調子がわるいので夜はスープ。
夫はチリとごはん。
今日の夜はまた一段と寒く、明け方はマイナス１９度とか。
対策して横になる。
