Christmas.

I woke slow.

While having coffee, we opened the gift one by one.

Dan was so happy for the book I made.

He got me water floss and books.

No breakfast.

We started cooking dinner immediately.

I also started sourdough.

Roast potatoes, and broccoli are mine.

Dan made little salad and steak.

It was all so good.

We also had cheese plate, red wine, and candles on three wiseman candle stands.

It was simple but good celebration.

After that, we spent afternoon talking to family and friends.

And listening to music and reading books.

It’s just like new year in Japan.

We ate leftovers for dinner, and I baked sourdough.

Now it’s back to normal.

I don’t know why it didn’t work.

I did FaceTime with my friend.

A baby was not baby anymore.

We hang out until it was too late.

Nice holiday.

クリスマス。

のんびり起きる。

コーヒーを飲みながら、ツリーの下のプレゼントをひとつずつ開けていく。

メインのプレゼントを一番最後に。

夫の俳句を集めてつくった手製本、思ったとおりとても喜んでくれた。

わたしは電動歯ブラシ、ではなくてフロス。それと本をもらった。

朝ごはんはパスして、お昼の準備に取り掛かる。

サワードウも仕込む。

ローストポテト、ブロッコリーの甘辛炒めはわたしの担当。

夫はステーキを焼いてくれた。小さなサラダもつくってくれる。

上手に焼くので、じっくり時間をかけたローストビーフみたいにやわらかい。

チーズプレートを用意して、三賢者の蝋燭立てに火を灯して、ワインを開ける。

ささやかだけど、楽しいお祝い。

友達や家族と連絡を取ったり、音楽を聞いたりして過ごす。

だらだらしたお正月みたい。

夜も残り物をつついたりして、特に何も用意せず。

サワードウはだいぶ膨らむようになってきた。

あれはいったいなんだったんだろう。

友達と少しフェイスタイムする。

こないだ生まれたと思っていた赤ちゃんが、すごく大きくなっていてびっくりした。

夜まで遊んで、おふとんに入る。

良いクリスマスだった。
