yuko's diary 12/23/25

Tuesday.

Dan drove me to the back of trailer as I had many boxes to bring.

This company is in a strange setting so we have to send supplies to employees.

This time, we used my address.

When I walked up to the stairs, I found a Christmas gift wrapped and sit on my chair.

It was from my colleague and it was a heated jacket. Matching one with my ex colleague.

Wow.

It was a quiet day, and so that I could read a lot.

After lunch, I went for a walk with my new jacket.

It took 5 minutes to warm up, and it really got hot, but it was fun.

I was done by 4, and I stoped at co-op.

I bumped into Concetta, and she invited me to the Christmas Eve dinner or desert.

Nice.

I got home, and made kindlings first.

Saige was around, but went home soon.

I made wanton soup for dinner.

Then made oatmeal cookies.

If we end up going to the dinner, I’d bring them.

I did my workout, jumping ropes, and took it easy after that.

I made fire.

When Dan came home, we chatted a lot.

I was surprised how late it was.

Then hurried to bed.

火曜日。

今日は荷物があったので、トレイラーの近くまで送ってもらった。

この会社は病院に属しているわけではないので、仕事に使う部品は社員の自宅に送るシステムになっている。

荷物を持っていくと、わたしのイスの上にクリスマスプレゼントが置いてあった。

同僚が用意してくれたらしい。

すぐにビリビリと破って開けたけれど、グリンチ柄の包装紙に、銀色のリボンと、宛名付きのシールまであってちゃんとしていた。

中身は充電式のウォーマー付きのジャケット。

元同僚とわたしとおそろいらしい。わお。

今日は静かだったのでたくさん本を読んで、お昼ごはんの後に歩きに出る。

新しいジャケットを着ていった。

温まるまでに5分ほどかかるし、急に熱いくらいになるから、たぶん使わないかなと思うけれどおもしろかった。

4時に上がって、コープに寄る。

コンチェッタにばったり会って、イブの夜ごはんに誘ってくれた。

イタリアンらしい。

ゆるい感じでデザートだけでも、とのこと。

帰宅して、まず焚き付けをつくる。

セージがウロウロしていたけれど、飽きて帰って行った。

晩ごはんにワンタンスープをつくる。

それからオートミールクッキーを仕込んだ。

明日お呼ばれするなら持っていくつもり。

こないだのより少し甘めに仕上がった。

ワークアウトして、縄跳びも少し。

暖炉に火を入れてのんびりした。

夫が帰ってきて、結構長くおしゃべりしてしまった。

時間を見て慌てておふとんに入る。
