Saturday.

It was sunny morning.

I was so glad to see the sun coming up from the back of mountain.

I did laundry once.

And my alpaca pants is finally done, so I decided to detangle it.

First I have to make it a flat cloths.

Deconstructing clothes someone made is like resolving a mystery.

I learned so much.

I brought little gift for our 2 neighbors.

Apples and chocolates and my Christmas cards.

I put it in their mailing box.

Dan made us quesadillas for lunch.

Then we went for walk around 2pm.

He wanted to buy more gift for me, but didn’t know what to get.

So I gave him a hint.

I wanted a small themes for making tea at work.

We walked up on the hill to the high school.

And walked around the track many times.

It was already looked like sunset.

The light was orange and our shadow was long.

We walked more than 90 minutes which was good.

Dan made bacon, eggs, avocado and toast for dinner.

This is shoulder bacon, not fatty and very tasty.

We went outside to see stars, but there was a bright moon.

It was so bright that we can see our shadow.

土曜日。

朝から久しぶりのいい天気。

8時半ごろ太陽が山の向こうから登って来た時はとても嬉しかった。

白物の洗濯を一回。

アルパカのスパッツ、直しながら2年履いたけれどついに限界が来た。

解いて何かつくることにする。

まず2枚の平たい布状になるまで解いていく。

誰かが作ってくれた服を解くとき、推理のようだ。勉強にもなるし、ありがたい。

このスパッツは毛糸が2本どりのところと1本どりのところに分かれているので、

それぞれ分けて巻き取っていく。

静かだけど、夢中になる作業。

ご近所3軒にクリスマスの贈り物。

リンゴとチョコを少しずつ、わたしのカードと一緒に紙袋に詰めて、郵便受けに入れておいた。

お昼は夫がつくってくれたケーサディーヤを食べる。

それから2時ごろに散歩に出かけた。

またプレゼントを買いたいという夫につきあうけれどなかなか決まらないのでヒントをあげる。

病院で仕事中にお茶を入れられるように蓋付きの魔法瓶の小さいのを買ってもらった。

この小さなお店にもたくさん物があるけれど、昨日とは全然違う。

同じ物でも、誰かが選んで運んできた、と感じられる物たち。

それから高校まで歩いて行って、また同じようにトラックをくるくる歩く。

もう夕方みたいな光で、影が長く伸びている。

気温は低いけれど太陽のおかげでだいぶ暖かく感じる。

それでも帰宅する頃には寒くなっていた。

1時間半以上歩いた。よい散歩。

夜は夫が買って来た肩肉のベーコンを試すために、ベーコン、目玉焼き、トースト、アボカドという、なんだか朝ごはんみたいな晩ごはんになった。

ベーコンはほぼハムみたいに脂が少なくおいしい。

こんなに晴れたのだから星がきれいだろう、と厚着して外に出たら、

東側の空高くに月がどーんとあって、すごい明るい。

影がはっきり出るくらい。

星は見えたものの、数分で諦めた。
