Winter Solstice.
I couldn’t wake up slowly.
I had coffee and banana bread.
The frozen pizza was not good for our stomach...
I knitted a lot to finish my hat.
Then I cooked pumpkin soup for celebrate winter solstice.
In Japan, you are supposed to eat something orange/yellow and round as symbol of the sun.
I used not only my pink pumpkin but sweet potato, garlic, cabbage, and onion.
I flied them with butter, and boiled very well with salt and water.
Usually I can’t wait long enough, but this time I waited till everything started melting.
Then I strained with plain strainers and wood spoon.
It was really really good. Thick enough without milk.
Dan was cleaning the house and also gave himself a haircut.
He shaved too.
I started working on another knitting project.
I dis-tangled a scarf which was gift, but I don’t really use.
Trying to make new socks.
I was little nervous for tomorrow’s booster shot.
