Today Dan’s off.
I woke up little past 7.
It was 2F outside.
Why 8 am is the coldest of the day? hmm.
I made fire.
Then I saw that Korea defeated Portugal, wow.
I rewinded 40 minute and watched it with Dan.
They made goal in the extended time, and advanced to the finals!!
How dramatic.
I helped Dan filling documents for his new insurance.
He made us steak and rice with cabbage and pickled beets.
It was very good.
We rested little, and went for a walk.
We found that they are having holiday bazaar at culture center, and went there.
We bought cups and ornament from Concetta, and cookies from people who are raising money for people who lost house for fire.
They had free brownies and that was really good.
Back home, and we had relaxing afternoon.
I made ramen with lots of vegetables for dinner.
We watched Indian movie “RRR.”
Oh my god, it was so extreme!
Art, dance, action, song, all were so good, and we were overwhelmed.
It is 3 hours movie, and we got tired, but watched till the end.
Dan said that British are very hated there.
Well, they deserve it.
休みの日。
7時すぎには起きる。
マイナス17度なのですぐに薪ストーブを焚く。
8時ごろがいちばん寒くなるのがいつもふしぎ。
ぱっとつけたら、韓国とポルトガルの試合の一番最後。
勝ったんだ！というのだけ確認して、巻き戻して最後40分ほどみる。
最下位からの決勝戦進出なんて、とてもドラマチック。
午前中は夫の職場の書類提出のお手伝いをする。
その間にステーキ丼をつくってくれた。
キャベツの千切りとビーツのピクルスが添えてあるのがセンスがいい。
ちょっと休憩してから、寒いけれど散歩にいくことにした。
歩いてたら、カルチャーセンターでホリデーバザーをやっていたのを見つけた。
そんなに混んでなくていい雰囲気。
コンチェッタのところでお猪口と、ツリーのオーナメントを買って、
山火事に遭ったひとたちのためのチャリティでクッキーを買う。
会場の隅に置いてあった、フリーのブラウニーがとてもおいしかった。
満足して帰宅し、またストーブを焚いてあとはのんびり。
夜は野菜たっぷりのラーメン。
気になっていたインド映画、”RRR”の英語吹き替え版を見る。
いやー、すごかった！
画像もアクションも歌も踊りもすごいし、なにもかもすごすぎて笑うしかなかった。
3時間越えの超大作。これははまる人多いのもよくわかる。
長くて疲れるんだけど、最後のダンスまで全部見た。
イギリス人嫌われてるね、というのが夫の感想。まあ、それはそうでしょう。
