Friday.
I woke up at 7:30. Oops.
IT was all white outside.
Quickly I got ready and left for culture center.
Today we have our holiday bazar.
I found my place and set up my table with lots of Dan’s help.
He got idea to bring woods in the last minute and it was great idea.
It would be very flat without them.
We finished setting up around 10, so went to get coffee and breakfast.
The cafe was crowded and we waited long time.
We ate them in the culture center.
Buffalo was making his soup.
I love his cooking. We love him so much.
I was lucky to have this spot.
The bazar was 12-18, but not too many people showed up.
It was the first snow and Friday.
Everyone had to do something.
I just loved being there.
Dan came back in the afternoon.
We had Buffalo’s soup and grilled cheese.
We just chatted and enjoyed the culture center.
A person who was helping the kitchen told us that we looks so happy, and our love is contagious.
She asked if we are new couple. No, it’s our 8th year.
That was so sweet.
I sold one bowl to a lady who got my bowl last May.
She does iron work and I was so happy to hear that she gave my piece to someone and came back for another one.
Another lady who does weaving asked me to exchange our pieces.
I got this cute hair band, and kit for felt making.
Yay!
It was fun.
We just left everything there and went to home.
A long day.
Dan made us ham sandwiches.
It got cold but I was so tired, just went home.
Though I couldn’t sleep until late.
金曜日。
二度寝したら7時半だった。
雪がうっすら積もっている。
慌てて準備して、コーヒーだけ飲んで、9時にカルチャーセンターへ。
今日はホリデーバザール。
指定された場所にテーブルを置いて、設置開始。
夫がたくさん助けてくれた。
出発直前に木の板をたくさん持っていこうと思いついてくれたおかげで、立体感のある展示になった。
10時前には一応できたので、朝ごはんを買いに出かける。
カフェは混んでいてベーグルと普通のコーヒーを買うのにかなり時間がかかった。
それを持って戻る。
コンチェッタのお父さん、バッファローがスープの仕込みをしていた。
わたしのブースはそのキッチンの目の前なので、特等席だ。
わたしも夫もバッファローが大好き。カルチャーセンターの代表でもある。
12時から6時までバザールだったけれど、足並みはあまり振るわず。
まぁ、初雪の金曜日だもの、みんな色々することがあるね。
おしゃべりしたり、他のお店を見て回っているだけで楽しい。
一旦帰った夫が夕方戻ってきた。
バッファローのスープとグリルドチーズサンドイッチを食べる。
おいしいおいしい。
その後も2人で店番をしながらおしゃべりしていたら、
バッファローのお手伝いをしていた人に、
「あなたたちは本当にしあわせそう。愛が伝染してこっちにまで伝わってくるわ。
つきあいたてなの？」と言われた。あはは、結婚8年目です。
夫が一瞬外に行っている間にひとつボウルが売れた。
5月に買ってくれたけれど、人にあげたのでまた買いに来たとのこと。
アイロンワークをする年配の女性で、かっこよくて好きだったのでうれしかった。
終了間際に、織をする人から声をかけられて、作品を交換することになった。
素朴なチロリアンテープみたいなヘアバンドと、フェルトを作るキットをもらった。
わーい！
展示はそのままにしておいて、夫と帰宅。
はー、いちにち仕事だった。
夜ご飯は夫がハムサンドイッチをつくってくれて食べる。
とても冷え込んできたけれど、そのままお休み。
でも夜中に目が冴えてしばらく起きていた。
