Wednesday.
Work day today.
The ground was all white, covered by frost.
We were not having lots of patients again today.
When we were not moving, we were cold.
I bought chamomile tea at the cafe and warmed my hands.
We had a 11 year old who was not so afraid to go in.
Rather excited.
But when we asked them how was that, they said it was scary at first.
Very well done.
I could read a lot again.
The first chapter ended abruptly and I was surprised but remembered that there was a scene in movie that one character complained that the book they were reading lacking pages.
The second chapter is located in 1930s, and much easier to read.
I finished and left around 4.
When I got home, Saige came running, but was called and ran home.
She got to go for a walk with leash on, and she loves it.
We called Dan’s sister and chatted.
Warmed up quiche Dan brought home, and ate with kimchi.
Hmm, not bad.
I was tired more than I should be.
Will rest well tomorrow.
水曜日。
今日もお仕事。
霜であたり一面白い。
今日もあまり数がなく、午前中は待機でとても寒い。
カフェでカモミールティーを買って、手を温めた。
お昼前くらいから少しずつ温まってきたけれど。
11歳の患者さん、あまり怖がっているふうでもなく、むしろ楽しんでいるようす。
問診票の過去の手術のところに、骨折数回、と書かれていてなんだか納得した。
すんなり始める。
終わった後にどうだった？と聞くと、本当は最初ちょっと怖かった、と言っていた。
そうだよね。正直でえらいね。
今日も読書が進んだ。
最初の章が文の途中で終わるのでびっくりした。
こういう仕掛けなのかな。そういえば映画でも本の続きがない、みたいなシーンがあったっけ。
次の章は20世紀初頭で、だいぶ読みやすくなった。
4時に上がって、歩いて帰る。
セージが走ってきたけれど、フェィスに呼ばれて走って帰って行った。
最近はリードをつけて散歩に連れて行ってもらっているみたい。
夫の妹と電話。
買ってきたキッシュを温める。
美味しく食べて、最後にキムチと一緒に食べてみた。
ええーと思ったけれど、意外と美味しい。
ここに越してから、キムチを日常的に食べるようになった。
なんだか疲れたな～。
明日はゆっくりしよう。
