Woke up 5 am, and went to the beach.
It was cloudy, but then the sun came out.
All those clouds and lighting were so beautiful.
There was no wind, so it wasn't cold.
By the time we left, it was warm and sunny.
We ran, played catch.
Back home, and Dan made biscuit, eggs, Brussel sprouts.
Very American breakfast.
Then I was writing the addresses, but fell asleep.
He was watching the football game.
Agh, it truly is like Japanese New Year...
One more day!
５時過ぎに起きてビーチへ。
曇っているけどあたたかいなと思っていたら、
隙間から太陽が覗いていて、そこからどんどん空が変わって、
すごかった。
ビーチはいつも違う表情だけど、今日は空に見惚れた。
風もほとんどなかったのに。
走って、キャッチボールして、石を拾って。
曇っていたからか、人でも少なく、ゆったり楽しめた。
帰って、夫がつくってくれたブランチ。
手作りビスケットにグレービーソースをかけたもの、
ブリュッセルスプラウツ、目玉焼き。美味しかったけど食べきれなかった。
その後、買い物したり、宛名書きしていたけれど、
突然眠くなってしっかりお昼寝した。
夫はアメフトを見てたみたい。
ああ、ほんと、日本のお正月だなぁ。
あといちにち。楽しもう。
