Today is our anniversary.
Dan had to work half day.
He tried to make fire before he left, but it didn’t work.
The chimney is too cold.
I tired but it took me long time.
I got an email that my diary log is published on this beautiful website.
It’s like a little gift for our anniversary.
While I was knitting, Dan came home.
It was sunny and beautiful day.
We decided to go out for lunch.
I had Thai lettuce rap, and Dan had Ruben.
Back home, we started cooking, well mostly he did.
Bottom round roast.
It’s a part of upper leg, I think.
He cooked in the oven on the skillet.
He also made roasted potatoes and kale. We had my pickled beets.
Everything was delicious.
The light was beautiful toady.
6 years ago, Cubs won the world series for the first time in 108 years.
And Trump got elected, and we got married.
We came long way from that.
Pandemic and war, and moving different jobs, etc.
I loved every single second with him.
We had good nap and had a relaxing night.
It got really cold.
結婚記念日。
夫は半日仕事。
出発前に薪ストーブをたいてくれようとしたけれど、火がつかず。
煙突が冷え切っているとむずかしいよね。
煙がおさまってからわたしもトライしたけれど、結構時間がかかった。
7月18日の日記をme and you さんのサイトに掲載していただき、今日公開されました。
公開のメールが記念日の朝にとどいてとてもうれしい。

掃除をして、編み物をしていると夫が帰宅。
晴れていて、とても光が美しい午後だった。
お腹が空いていたので、町のレストランへ。
夕食はお肉なので、それ以外のものを。
わたしはタイ風のレタスラップ。
帰宅してからのんびり料理。
主に夫がしてくれた。
ボトム・ラウンド・ロースト、という牛肉の太腿の付け根の部位？らしい。
赤身なのがいいな。
鉄のフライパンに乗せて味付けし、そのままオーブンへ。
ローストポテト、ケール、それからわたしのビーツのピクルスがつけあわせ。
どれもおいしかった。
光がきれいでたくさん写真を撮った。
たのしいな～。
6年前の11月は、シカゴ・カブズが108年ぶりにワールドシリーズ優勝し、
（シカゴ出身の夫の家族の念願だった）
トランプ氏が当選し、わたしたちが結婚した月。
あはは、いろいろ盛り沢山だったな。
あれから世界もわたしたちも、すごくいろいろと変わったけれど、とても楽しかった。
食べたらお昼寝して、夜ものんびりした。
夕方からぐっと寒くなる。
