We have this ceiling light by the front door which we don’t like.
Dan has been trying to replace it with the light fixture that we got at church bazaar.
Today he got new screw, and made it happen!
It is much better with orange light.
He also bought me a cup of soup.
We went to Iron Grills and I got crab cake, and Dan had burger.
My cosmopolitan was huge.
When we came back, Saige was running along side of our car.
I played with her, but she went into the creek.
Later, she took burned bagel from our compost.
Oh no, but it will be fine.
Dan made fire several times today.

ゆっくり起きて、コーヒーとオートミール。
太陽が出ていてあたたかい。
気になった本をオーダーする。
ニューヨーカーに書いているジョージ・サンダースの短編集と、
ミン・ジン・リーのパチンコ。これはドラマもいつか見たいな。
編み物を進める。
赤ちゃんの頭のサイズを調べて、それと同じくらいのバターナッツスクワッシュにかぶせてみる。
数ヶ月くらいまではいけそう。
つまり、春になるまで。
玄関のすぐよこにある天井のライトは、適当に買ったものであまり気に入ってなかった。
教会のバザールで買ってきたガラスのカバーをつけるために夫が四苦八苦していた。
そして今日、なんとかついた！
オレンジがかったガラスを通すと、LEDの無機質な光が一気に暖かくなる。
これは大成功だった。

まぁ、ベーグルなら大丈夫かな。
今日はいちにち夫が薪ストーブを燃してくれた。
夫がする方が煙たくならない気がする。
気のせいかな。
夜、夫の友達と電話したり、ゆるゆるして過ごす。
選挙結果がまだ出てきていて、上院が民主党半数獲得！となって盛り上がる。わー、すごい。
