It’s Friday, but Dan works today.
The front glass of his car was not frozen.
Dan says that it’s because there’s not enough moisture in the air.
Coffee, and sending email, etc.
While I was knitting, Dan came home.
They sent home saying spend time with your wife.
He really found the best job.
He made Denver Omelet.
It has ham and green pepper.
It was really good.
We took nap, and when we woke up,
Saige was outside.
She went into the creek, laid down on the snow.
She really doesn’t care.
It was cloudy whole day, and it was supposed to be warmer than yesterday,
but it felt colder without the sun.
Dan made fire twice.
Dan realized that we are paying for Showtime.
Oops.
We decided to watch few movies before we cancel it.
We watched “After Yang”
The music director was Japanese, and two of key music was my old favorite.
Their costumes and interior are somehow Japanese.
When I finished it, I felt like I watched good Japanese movie for the first time in long time.
But it is not Japanese.
金曜だけれど夫出勤の日。
今朝は車の窓ガラスが凍ってなかった。
乾燥してるからかな、と夫。
コーヒーを入れてメールなど。
編み物をしているうちに夫帰宅。
早かったね～というと家で奥さんとゆっくりしなよと言われて送り出されたらしい。
いい仕事先だね。
ご機嫌でオムレツをつくってくれた。
デンバー風、ハムとグリーンペッパー入り。
自家製ケチャップで食べるとおいしい。
お昼寝して、起きたらセージが遊びにきた。
半分凍っている小川にも入っていくし、雪のうえにも寝そべって、
ほんとうに気にしてないのね。
今日は曇りのまま、気温は昨日より高いはずだけれど、
太陽がないとやっぱり寒い。
夫が二回薪ストーブをたいてくれた。
夫がSHOWTIMEという配信サービスに入っているみたいなんだけど、という。
え、と調べてみると、確かに1年くらい課金していた。こわー。
キャンセルする前に、どうせならなにか見ようといってチェックする。
“After Yang” という映画を見る。
音楽が坂本龍一で、使われている曲が、UAと、リリイ・シュシュの曲をMitskiがカバーしたものだった。
どれもわたしにとってなつかしく、思い入れのある曲で、ぐっとなる。
服装やインテリアにも、ちょっと和風なところがある。北欧と言われればそうだけれど、とにかく洗練された雰囲気。
音楽と画面の湿度のせいか、抑えられたセリフのせいか、ひさしぶりにいい邦画をみたな～と思ってしまったけれど、いやいや邦画ではない。
昔好きだった感じを思い出した、不思議な映画だった。
