Sunday.

Dan was off too.

I woke up slow and started rye bread.

When I went to get flour, I saw a dead mouse in the pantry.

Noo.

It looked like it couldn’t come out.

I asked Dan to remove it, and then sanitized whole pantry.

We need to lock the door.

It’s funny that it didn’t eat rice or oats, but flour.

It reminded me of my art class when we had mouse problem, they didn’t eat our snacks but flour that we used for art work.

Today we had a big mission.

Remove blush out of chimney.

Dan climbed up on the roof and dropped dumbbell, block, stone, pipe and etcetera, but it didn’t move.

Jeez.

We need new strategies.

We had fish tacos for lunch.

While watching baseball, it was fun.

We also went on the hammock.

After that, we fixed my garden bed, and went to a quick shopping.

It was sunny and so beautiful.

We listened to dodger’s game, but they didn’t do good.

I made post season MLB bingo card with things announcer would say.

Like frozen rope and can of corn.

I love those weird baseball slung.

Dan fell asleep early, and I studied little bit.

I’m afraid that the day would come sooner than I thought.

日曜日。

今日は夫もおやすみ。

のんびり起きてライ麦パンを仕込む。

パントリーに小麦粉を取りに行ったら、ネズミの死体が。

ひえー。

隙間から入り込んで小麦粉を食べたものの、出られなくなったみたい。

夫に片付けてもらった。消毒する。

フックか何かで扉がちゃんと閉まるようにしないと。

しかし、お米もオーツ麦もあるのに、小麦粉なんだな。

芸大の教室でネズミ騒ぎがあった時、みんなのお菓子よりも、作品に使う小麦粉が食べられていたのを思い出す。

今年の初めから、煙突に詰まったままのブラシを取り除くべく、夫とあれこれしてみる。

屋根の上に登って、ダンベルやブロックを落としたり、長いパイプで押してみたり。

全然びくともしなくて途方に暮れる。

何か別の作戦が必要だ。

お昼はフィッシュブリトー。

野球を見ながらおいしく食べて、食後はハンモックに揺られる。

その後は、先週組んだガーデンベッドの調整をしたり、買い出しに出たり。

今日もすごい快晴で気持ちがいい。

夜、ドジャースの試合。

どうにも振るわなくて、途中であきらめた。

ポストシーズンの間に、アナウンサーが言いそうなことを集めて、ビンゴカードをつくる。

野球独特の変なフレーズってすごく面白い。

Frozen rope　凍ったロープは、まっすぐで長い投球のこと。ピッチャーじゃなくて野手に使われる。

Can of corn コーン缶は、簡単に捕れる球。

理由はわかるものもあるし、わからないものもある。コーン缶は謎だ。

夜、夫が寝てしまったので、少し勉強。

あっという間に日が経ちそうで怖い。
