Thursday.

We woke up slow. 

Coffee and yogurt.

I went to the mall to submit my films.

Then I bought all kinds of stuff.

Toothbrush for myself, and tea and stationary as souvenir.

Dad and Dan were busy watching game 5.

Mom wanted to go shopping with us.

After some negotiation, my dad agreed on dropping three of us at the nearby department store.

It was 5th inning and Dodgers tied.

My mom loves clothes, and loves buying clothes for us.

It is her favorite things to do.

So if she wants, I just let her buy stuff.

It’s the best for her.

She bought my wallet, Dan’s jacket and wallet and socks, and my clothes.

Dan was not sure what to do, but I told him to say yes to something, otherwise it won’t end.

I used to feel uncomfortable as I feel like her doll.

But then I started enjoying it too.

She wanted to buy more, but we stopped there.

We got some sushi for lunch, and went home.

While eating lunch, we could see the end of the game. And it was nice.

Then I did packing and packing some boxes.

I sent some of our clothes so that we can put souvenirs in the suitcase.

I brought boxes to the postoffice, and then went to get my film photos.

The one I took with my grandpa’s camera was really really good.

Nicon F3, the best camera.

We went for a running around the school.

My brother happened to drive by us.

He used to run here all the time, and when he saw Dan, he was wondering why an American is running here, and that American runs in a good form.

We ran three raps, and that was it. 

One rap is 680m, all hills.

My nephew was there.

We played for while, and we took bath.

Then we walked to a restaurant near us.

My nephew was happy walking holding hands of my dad and Dan.

But the he saw his mom, and he lost it.

The restaurant was very fancy, and great food.

We got soboro don too just to compare with what I make.

We walked back home.

Dad has a bad leg, and Dan walked slow with him while me and mom walked fast.

That’s it, that was the last night in Osaka.

木曜日。

朝のんびり起きて、コーヒーとヨーグルト。

朝のうちに近くのイオンへ。

フィルムを出し、お土産をざっと買い込んだ。

お茶や文房具など、簡単なものと、自分用に歯ブラシ。

父と夫はワールドシリーズ5戦目を見るのに忙しい。

母はわたしたちを買い物に連れていきたい。

いろいろやりとりの結果、近くのデパートにさっと行くことになった。

父を説得して送らせる。

5回表でドジャースが同点に追いついたところだった。

母は服を買うのが好き。家族の服を買うのが好き。

生きがいのひとつと言ってもいいくらい、つまり着倒れだ。

こういう時は、遠慮せず、でも好みははっきり言って、買ってもらうのが一番いい。

まずわたしの財布、夫のジャケット、財布、靴下、それからわたしの服。

夫は戸惑っていたけれど、わたしは慣れているので、ぱぱぱっと試着し、母が見繕ってくるのも着て、その中で気に入ったものを選ぶ。

昔は着せ替え人形になった感じがして嫌だったけれど、大人になってからは母につきあう気持ちでやる。ふたりとも決めるのは早いし、たくさん素敵な服を試せるのは楽しい。

母がある程度満足したら、地下でお昼ご飯を買って帰宅。

お昼ご飯を食べながら、最後の回を見られて夫も父も満足した。

それから荷造りと、小包の準備。

余計な服と、歯ブラシ、持って帰りたい本などを2箱に分けて送った。

これでお土産をスーツケースに詰められる。

荷物を出しに行って、朝出したフィルムの現像を受け取る。

データをダウンロードして、やっぱり祖父のカメラはいいなぁと思った。

ニコンのF3、光がなんともきれいだ。

夕方、夫と走りに行く。

ちょうど部活の時間で、陸上部がいたらどうしようと思ったけれど、見当たらず、代わりにハロウィンの仮装をした子供達がいた。

避けて走っていると、ちょうど弟が車で実家に向かうところですれ違った。

弟は陸上部で、さらに夜中もここを走っていたのを覚えている。

夫を見て、なんでアメリカ人がこんなところに？と思ったと後で教えてくれた。

きれいなフォームで走るなと思ったとも。

3周走って帰宅。

甥も来ていて遊んでいる。

交代でお風呂に入って、準備をして、7時に歩いて近くのレストランへ。

甥っ子は夫と父に手を繋いでもらってご機嫌で歩いていたけれど、途中の薬局でママを見かけてからはダメだった。

ママが来るのを待って、一緒に入る。

焼肉のコースで、お肉ばかりくるかと思ったら、カボチャのスープやサラダもあって、とても上品でおいしかった。

甥がそぼろ丼を食べていて、わたしたちももらう。

家で作るものと似ていて、夫も満足していた。

弟たちはここでバイバイ。

例の如く泣き喚く甥を置いてさっと帰る。

足が痛い父は歩くのが遅いのだけど、母とわたしはサクサク歩く。

夫はゆっくり歩いてあげていてやさしかった。

今日はもうそれでおしまい。

大阪最後の夜はだいぶんと涼しくなっていた。
