Tuesday.
Coffee, and challah.
It came from Brooklyn, NY. Wow.
I walked to work.
It was cold.
I wore 2 pairs of legging under the scrub and leg warmer, but I should’ve wore thicker one.
When it’s busy, it’s fine, but when it’s not it’s not.
We thought it’ll be busy afternoon, but it was actually quiet.
So I could read.
I’m at the half way to go, and I found a small sign of sad ending, hope it won’t end that way.
Today’s lunch special was pho.
I know I said that I wouldn’t trust them for Asian food, but we have Thai restaurant here in town, so Vietnamese food might be ok.
And it was good one.
I finished 4 and walked home.
When I stopped at the co-op, Dan texted me, and came to meet me.
Back home, we cleaned the house, and packed some more.
I did laundry and ironing.
It’s fun to pack together.
We will share my big suitcase this time.
Dan made us pasta for dinner.
I’m already nervous but it will be ok.
We went to bed early.
火曜日。
コーヒーとユダヤの人が食べるチャラという三つ編み型のパン。
よく見るとブルックリンで作られたもので驚いた。
ブルックリンにはハセディックという、伝統的なユダヤ教徒の人たちの大きなコミュニティがあるからそこから来たのだろう。
なんだか感慨深い。
歩いて仕事へ。
寒い。
スクラブの下に2枚レギンス、さらにレッグウォーマーも履いているけれど、間違えた感がすごい。
来週から厚手のレギンスにしようっと。
とはいえ、1件目はベッドを移動させたのでしっかり温まった。
忙しいと大丈夫なのだけれど。
午後も忙しそうだと思っていたけれど、そのまま過ぎていった。
読書も少し進める。
今中盤くらいなのだけど、終わり方を暗示させるような一文があって嫌な予感がする。
お昼は日替わりランチがフォーだった。
うううう、ここのアジア系は信用しないと決めたけれど、タイ料理屋さんは町にあるから、ベトナム料理もセーフか？！と思ってトライしてみると、なかなか美味しかった。
満足。
4時に終わって歩いて帰る。
コープに寄っていたら、夫から連絡。
ちょうど帰って来たのでコープまできてくれて合流。
帰宅して、掃除して、荷造りの続き。
洗濯、アイロンがけも。
ワイワイと準備するのは楽しい。
緊張して来たけれど、それがまぎれる感じ。
合間に夫がパスタを作ってくれて夕食。
早めに就寝。
