Sunday.
I woke up around 8. Dan stayed in bed.
I made coffee first.
I asked him if he wants to go to faire again, he said yes.
When we arrived there around 11:30, some people are already leaving.
Many venders were closing, some were very tired.
We saw these two girls were selling puppet show for $2.
Dan gave them $3 in dimes and they got shy.
We didn’t understand the story, but they were so cute anyway.
I played stilts, bumped into M, bought organic eggplants.
Most people were camping three days so they were tired.
Kids are fine, and trying to sell things.
We got nachos and tamale from Michael.
A guy with Polaroid took photo of us bater with my peppers.
We left faire around 2:30, same time as the last time.
It’d be more fun over night, but I don’t think we can do that.
Other people would drive 5 hours or so from here.
When we back home, Saige was running alongside our car.
We had relaxing night.
Ramen with eggplant for dinner.
日曜日。
わたしは8時ごろ起床。夫はなかなか起きず。
先にコーヒーをいれる。
今日もバーター・フェアに行こうと話していたけれど、行かないの？と聞くと行く！という。
11時半ごろに行ってみると、ほとんどのお店はもう閉じているけれど、
まだかろうじて開いているのもあって、投げ売りになっていたり、なかなかおもしろい。
女の子ふたりがパペットショーを2ドルで売っていたので、夫がコインで3ドル払う。
急に恥ずかしくなったのか、小さな声で始めてくれた。
ストーリーはよくわからなかったけれど、とにかくかわいかった。
木でできた竹馬みたいなので遊んだり、Mとばったり会ってしゃべったり、
オーガニックのイタリアのナスを2ドルで買ったり。
3日間キャンプしているひとたちがほとんどだから、子供たちのほうが元気で、いろいろ声をかけてくれる。
マイケルのところでナチョスとタマレを買って座って食べる。
日差しがつよい。
ペッパーと交換してポラロイドを撮ってもらった。
たのしく遊んで2時半ごろ撤収。たまたまだけれど1日目と同じスケジュールになった。
きっと夜が盛り上がるのだろうけれど、わたしたちはあまり体力もないし、これくらいでいい。みんなここから5時間とか運転して帰るのか～。すごいな。
帰宅したらセージが車を追いかけてついてきた。
あとはのんびりしてすごす。
夜ご飯のラーメンには焼いたナスをいれた。
たのしい週末だった。
