Now I need make this into a postcard shape.
That might be difficult.
It was already after 1pm, almost 2,
I went to my ceramic studio.
Saige came, Dan came, and so did Joe.
I needed to start earlier to focus.
I planted trees.
Hope they will grow strong.
They are not Japanese ones but wild American persimmon.
They will have lots of sweet fruits.
But it will take years.
We had Thai dumplings that Dan brought home.
It tasted like curry, and delicious.

これは木の成長に違いがでるかもしれないな。

ここから形にしていくのが少し難しそう。
気付いたらお昼過ぎで慌てて土を触り始める。
セージが来たり、夫が帰宅してすぐジョーが来たり、最後の方はあまり集中できなかった。
やっぱり時間配分が大事。
カキの木を植える。
うまく育ってくれますように。
日本のカキを育てている人も結構いるみたいだけれど、これはワイルド・アメリカン・パーシモンという種類で、北アメリカ原産の小さな実がなるカキ。
熟すまで渋いので取らずに待って、むしろ落ちたのを探して食べるみたい。
干しても食べられるかな？
たのしみだな、5年後くらいだろうか。やっぱり8年なのかな。
夜は夫がもらってきてくれたタイ風餃子というもの。
バジル味というのでどんなものだろうと思ったらカレー風味でおいしかった。
生地が厚めで形が丸っこいのもかわいい。
