Sunday.
I woke up late and had coffee.
It was sunny day again.
I went outside and continued to clean the garden.
I harvested some pumpkin and winter squashes, and cut down vines.
Added more winter wheat here and there.
Clover too.
I sow calendula seeds.
There are many small things to do.
And it is just nice to be outside.
We only ate English muffin, so I made quesadillas for lunch.
We watched the last game of Mets.
They were really bad this year and the manager will be fired.
We liked him though.
Although they were losing, we watched it till the end.
Every fan in the stadium look sad, but stayed.
I worked outside in the afternoon.
Dan was working on the gutter.
I made tofu steak and rice and greens for dinner.
My first little purple carrot was great.
We stayed under the cover and he read New Yorker and I did knitting.
It was like a great weekend again.

ゆっくり起きてコーヒー。
今日もいい天気。
外に出て、お庭の片付けを進める。
まだ大きくなりきってないカボチャを残して、いらないツルを片付ける。
小麦がうまく生えてこなかったところに、少しずつ追加していく。
クローバーもあちこちに。
カレンデュラの種を蒔く。
小さなことだけどすることがたくさんあるし、外にいるのが気持ちいい。
イングリッシュマフィンのトーストを摘んだだけだったので、
お昼はケーサディーヤをたくさん焼いた。
メッツは今日がシーズン最後のゲーム。食べながら見る。
今年は本当に成績が悪かったので、監督は交代させられるらしい。
この監督好きなのに残念だ。
いつも冷静で、黒いボロボロの手帳に何か書き込んでいる白髪のおじいさん。
最後の試合なので、負けたけれど終わりまで見た。
NYのスタジアムにいるファンも苦い顔で、終わった後もずっと立っていた。
午後も外で色々したり、セージと遊んだりして過ごす。
夫は雨樋をつけ直していた。
雨はほとんど降らないのだけど、ここしばらくゲリラ豪雨が続いたので。
夜ご飯は久しぶりの豆腐ステーキ。
紫色のニンジンを収穫して葉物と一緒に炒めた。
夜はお布団にくるまって、夫は読書、わたしは編み物。
冬の過ごし方だなぁ。
今週末もとても楽しかった。
