Tuesday.
I woke up of the sound of snow plower.
It was not that big of snow though, maybe 2 inches?
I ate miso soup for breakfast.
After Dan left for work, I prepared and went for work too.
I thought it was easy as it was new snow, but it wasn’t.
Wearing dansko was not a good idea.
I didn’t fell down, but almost slip.
It was not too busy, but not too slow.
I almost finish the book.
The next one is not here yet.
It was sunny and beautiful outside.
I wish it was this beautiful and also warm.
The town looked much better.
We finished at 4, and I stopped at co-op.
I walked slow and careful on the way home too.
The sky was really clear.
Dan came home soon after.
While we were chatting, I saw a postoffice car parked at front of our property.
Dan went out to get the package.
A package from Dan’s brother.
Our niece put lots of her work and all of them were cute.
We had ramen for dinner.
The house felt cold few hours after we came home.
So Dan made fire.
He said he heard coyote outside.
Finally the winter came, and all wild animal are happy I hope.
We watched comedy and went to sleep.
火曜日。
除雪車の音で起きる。
そんなに積もってない、10センチくらいだけどなと思いつつ。
昨日のお味噌汁の残りを温めて食べる。
夫が出発した後わたしも用意して出かける。
まだ新雪だし、凍ってないしと、ダンスコで出かけたら失敗だった。
こけなかったけれど、きれいにプレスされた雪の表面で滑りそうになった。
なるべく端の、雪が積もっているところを集中して歩く。
今日はそんなに忙しくもなく、暇でもなく。
本を読み終わりそうになって困った。
次の本はまだ届いていない。
外はきれいな青空。
雪が積もったまま、気温が高かったらいいのにと話す。
町がとってもきれいに見える。
4時に終わって、コープに寄って帰る。
帰りも足元を気を付けつつ、夕焼けに見惚れた。
夫もすぐに帰宅。
おしゃべりしていると郵便局の車が来るのが見えた。
雪の中運ばせるのは悪いので夫が受け取りに行った。
サンディエゴの義兄家族から小包み。
姪の工作がたくさん入っていてかわいい。
今はクマがお気に入りみたい。
夜はケールと紫キャベツのラーメン。
日中家を開けていると、帰ってすぐより、数時間後にぐんと冷えるのはなぜだろう。
夫が薪ストーブに火を入れてくれた。
薪を取りに出たらコヨーテの声が聞こえたそう。
ようやくの本格的な冬に野生動物も対応に追われているかな。
それとも喜んでいるかな。
コメディを見たり、のんびりしてから寝る。
