Saturday.

I woke up late and Dan made us eggs and toast.

I started bagel dough.

Then we got ready and left house 11:30 or so.

It was raining lightly.

This was our 4th protest.

There was only one standing at noon, but then we counted 30 quickly.

I passed out whistles.

I was expecting people would say that they already have some, but it was not the case.

Most people were happy to receive it.

This means that not many people have whistle and I need to make more.

I gave out 20 some whistles.

It was on the big cross road, and many people were happy to see us and waved to us or beeped us.

Unlike NY or big cities, people beep shyly.

There was few who was mad at us, but we don’t care.

It was not a cold day, but standing outside for an hour made us cold, so we walked around.

It was a good one.

At home, I warmed up leftover pork in sweet soy sauce and put them on ramen with kale.

Ramen after being cold outside is the best.

We took some rest and went to the recycle center.

Dan got two light fixtures for porch light for $1.

Then we cleaned here and there.

Dan worked on broken Christmas lights.

I baked bagel.

We ate quesadillas with guacamole.

Dan was talking to his friend and relatives.

I worked on my writing and knitting.

It was a good weekend.

土曜日。

のんびり起きて、夫が目玉焼きとトーストの朝ごはんをつくってくれたので食べる。

ベーグル生地を仕込む。

それから準備して、11時半ごろ出発。小雨。

これでプロテストに参加するは4回目。

12時の開始時間にはひとりしか立っていなかったけれど、すぐに続々と集まって30人ほどに増えた。

笛を配る。

もう持っているよと言われるかなと思ったけれど、大半はうれしそうに受け取ってくれた。

つまり、あまり広まっていないということで、もっと配ろうと思う。笛はわたしのことも守ってくれる。

20個ちょいがきれいに無くなった。

大きな交差点でやっているので、賛成する人は手を振ってくれたり、クラクションを鳴らしたり。NYや大都市と違って控えめなクラクションがなんだかかわいい。

たまに反対派の人もいてエンジンを噴かしたりするけれど、まぁそれは仕方ないので気にしない。

気温は低くなかったけれど、1時間立っていると冷えるので、途中で歩いて回ったりした。

満足して帰宅。

昨日の残りのポークを醤油味にして、ケールと一緒にラーメンに乗せる。

おいしい。

外から帰ってきてのラーメンって特別だ。

少し休んでから、リサイクルセンターへ。

夫がポーチの電灯カバー2つを1ドルで購入。

その後はあちこちの掃除。

夫は外に設置したクリスマスライトを修理していた。

わたしはベーグルを焼く。

夜ごはんは簡単にケーサディーヤとワカモレ。

夫は友達や親戚と電話。

わたしは書き物と編み物。

とてもよい週末だった。
