Dan woke up first and made coffee and bagels.
It snowed whole night, everything was covered.
The drive way I shoveled last time was basically gone.
Changed, and started shoveling.
The snow is light and powdery but it was maybe 2 inches,
so it was nice exercise.
The road was cleared by neighbors.
Dan was trying to make fire,
the snow covered the chimney so the smoke was more like steam.
Then he went for running, but I had my exercise done,
so I stayed.
Kept knitting my socks/leggings.
Dinner was pasta Dan made.
Then we finished the British series.
I realized that there’s almost zero guns involved in the show.
Wow.
It looked so different.
We put heater on only once in the middle of night.
今日は夫の方が先に起きてコーヒーとベーグルを用意してくれた。
雪が一晩中降ったようで、しっかりと積もっている。
前回わたしが雪かきした道はしっかり覆われてしまった。
よいしょ、と着替えて、雪かき。
今回も雪は軽くてさらさらなのだけど、
３０センチほどしっかり積もっているので、
結構な運動になった。
道路は近所の人が耕運機にシャベルをつけたみたいな、
小型の除雪車できれいにしてくれていた。
その間夫は暖炉の火を起こすのに苦戦していた。
煙突に雪が積もっているから、白い蒸気がもわーっとあがってるのが外から見えた。
夫はその後走りに行ったけれど、
わたしはしっかり運動できたのでパス。
編み物をしたりして過した。
夜は夫がつくってくれたカルボナーラ。
昨日始めたシリーズを最後まで一気に見る。
途中から気づいていたけれど、
アメリカの番組との違いは、とにかく銃が出てこない。
警察の対応がぜんぜんちがう。
今晩はそこまで冷え込まないので、夜中に一度だけ起きてヒーターを入れた。
