yuko's diary 1/26/26

Monday.

It was cloudy again.

I woke up not too late and started rye bread, sourdough, and bagel.

I made soup for lunch.

I added wonton, tofu, and soy meat.

I also used miso, and added kimchi in the end.

It’s oriental soup. Haha.

Dan left for work, and I was doing everything.

First, I washed curtain that stained with charcoal.

Then I washed all clothes that we wore during fighting with the chimney.

It was hard, but with heavy duty setting, it all came off.

Then I cleaned around the stove, and inside too.

It was time to start baking.

I started with sourdough, and then also made granola.

I kept baking whole afternoon.

I also packed whistles with little zine.

Doing small things helped me feel good.

I will bring them to co-op and community center.

I ate leftover soup for dinner.

With leftover guacamole. I was not very hungry.

I did my workout, and took hot bath.

Then I did one more laundry.

When Dan came home, we chatted little.

But I went to bed soon later.

I had to wake up when the laundry was done though.

月曜日。

今日は曇り。晴れの日がなかなか続かない。

早めに起きて、パン生地を仕込む。

昨日のライ麦パン、サワードウ、ベーグル。

お昼ごはんのスープをつくる。

残っていたワンタンと豆腐を入れて、味噌と大豆ミートも。

キムチとパクチーを乗っけて、なんとなくアジア風なスープ。

オリエンタルスープとだと笑う。

オリエンタルは人を指す時に使うと差別用語だけれど、料理名ではよく見かける。

でもアジアのどこを意図しているのかあやふやすぎておかしい。このスープと同じ。

夫を見送って、そこから大忙し。

のれんを洗ってオキシ漬け。

えんとつ掃除で煤まみれになった服を手洗いしてから洗濯機へ。

すすいだ水が真っ黒でどうなるかと思ったけれど、しっかり目の設定にしたらきれいになった。

それからストーブ周りの養生を一旦外す。

そのままストーブの中も外も大掃除。

煤落とし、と思う。

そうこうしているうちにパンも焼き始める。

グラノーラも焼いて、オーブンは午後いっぱい稼働していた。

合間に内職。

笛を使ってコミュニティを守る方法が各地で広がっている。

わたしも、使い方の書いた紙と笛を個別の袋に入れたものを50個つくった。

小さくてもできることをしていた方が、気が楽だ。

コープとコミュニティセンターに置いてもらうつもり。

夜ごはんはお昼の残りと、昨日のワカモレ。

あんまりお腹が空いていない。

ワークアウトをしてからお風呂。

それからもう一度洗濯を回す。

夫が帰宅して、少しおしゃべりしたけれど、すぐにおふとんに入った。

洗濯が終わって起きたり、なんだかんだで遅くなってしまった。
