Saturday.

We were off today too.

We woke up late and I started working on rye bread dough and bagel dough.

No breakfast, but we had soup and toast.

It was really good.

I thought I added too much sea salt, but that was really good idea.

We went to the recycle center.

The heating jacket’s zipper was broken from the beginning but I didn’t want to tell him.

So I decided to replace it by myself.

I found a good one, little short, but it will work.

Dan found this cute Peter rabbit photo album and we bought it. 2 dollars for everything.

Back home, we went for a walk.

It was around same temperature with yesterday, but it felt colder.

We went to the usual boat launch and saw the water level was rising again.

No rain for a while, so it must be from snow melting.

We did some shopping and went home.

Dan baked frozen pizza.

I had little bite.

I worked on the zipper.

First, remove the broken one, and sow it roughly.

Then sow it tight, but the fabric was harder than I thought.

I also baked my bread.

Dan called his friend.

He received my jams and tomato sauces.

We’ve been watching world series.

Yesterday was game 6, today was game 7.

We love baseball.

土曜日。

今日もおやすみ。

のんびり起きて、昨日の夜仕込んだライ麦パンの続き。

ベーグル生地にも取り掛かる。

朝ごはんはパスして、スープを温めて食べた。

やっぱりおいしい。

今回は海塩を多めに入れてしまったと思ったけれど、それが正解だったみたい。

わたしの料理は基本薄味だ。

リサイクルセンターへ。

同僚がくれたジャケットは、ファスナーが最初から壊れていたけれど、申し訳なくて言えなかったので、自分で取り替えることに。

短いけれど似た感じのファスナーが見つかった。

夫が見つけた、ピーターラビットの小さな写真アルバムと一緒に購入。2ドル。

帰宅してそのまま散歩に出る。

気温は昨日と同じくらいなのに、曇っているだけですごく寒く感じる。

外にあまり人がいなかった。

いつもの船着場まで行く。水位がまた少し上がっていた。

雨は降っていないはずなので、気温が上がって山の雪が溶けたのかも。

買い出しして帰る。

夫が冷凍ピザを焼いて食べていた。わたしも少し味見。

それからファスナーに取り掛かる。

まずきれいに外して、新しいものを仮縫い。

それから縫い付けていくのだけど、生地が思ったより硬くて苦戦した。

合間にパンを焼く。

夫の友達と電話。

送ったジャムやソースは無事に届いたみたい。

ワールドシリーズを見返している。

昨日は6戦目、今日は決勝戦を少しずつ見た。

やっぱり野球は楽しいな。

楽しい週末だった。
