Saturday.
We woke up late.
It was cold again, but should be over the worst.
We had a relaxing morning.
I chose native plants seeds from this great website.
They have more than 700 kinds of native seeds, and each has range map.
So fun.
It was so sunny, almost scary.
We went to get groceries around noon.
We needed to fix the electric, and went to Ace too.
There were many people with lots of housing problem, and that made me feeling better.
At home, we take the main power off, and tried everything we can.
But it was hard.
We had to go back to the store many times.
And we were hungry.
In the end, we had a conclusion that we needed to order breaker online.
And that took us several hours. Yikes.
Dan gave up and I was determined so I walked to Ace.
And that was very bad idea.
It worried him to death, and I shouldn’t walk in this cold.
I need to stop trying to do everything.
Anyway, I put two temporary breaker on, and put the power back.
I made quesadillas.
It is important not to work on house when you are hungry.
Lots of lessens learn.
Good news is that I received lots of seeds.
This makes me feeling rich.
And also I’m excited for this year’s garden.
We stayed up late and ate bagel at midnight.

寝坊して9時過ぎに起きる。
今日もグッと寒いけれど、これで山場は超えたはず。
午前中はのんびりして過ごす。
北米ネイティブの種や植物を700種類も扱っている種屋さんのウェブサイトを見て選ぶ。
それぞれにどの地域原産か、細かい地図が載っていて、すごく楽しい。
ワシントン州原産の花や低木を選んで購入した。楽しみだな。
今日も怖いくらいのいい天気。
お昼くらいに買い出しに出る。
ブレーカーを交換しないと、ということになったので、ホームセンターにも寄る。
みんなあちこち家に支障が出ていたり、慌てて追加の暖房器具を買ったりしていて、うちだけじゃないとなんだかホッとする。
帰宅後、主原電を落とし、ブレーカーを外して、購入したものをはめようとしたけれどうまくはまらない。
ここからが大変だった。
あちこち回って、いろいろ試して、結局、オンラインで注文すべき、という結論。
そこに辿り着くまで数時間かかった。
電気屋さんに頼むべきなんだろうな、やっぱり。
途中で諦めてしまった夫を置いて、衝動的に歩いてホームセンターに行って、夫をすごく心配させてしまった。
じぶんひとりでなんとかしなきゃという思い込みを外さないといけない。
とりあえず仮のブレーカーをはめて、主原電を上げて、ケーサディーヤをつくった。
お腹が空いている時に家の工事をしないのも大事。
反省の多い一日だった。
注文していた種がたくさん届いた。
以前は切手をたくさん常備していることが、わたしにとって豊かさの象徴というか、ほくほくした気持ちになるものだったけれど、今は種がそこに加わった。
この時期種をあちこちから受け取ると、ああ、今年も楽しみだなとなってほくほくする。
なんだかいろいろあって、夜中まで起きてベーグルを食べたりした。
